Côr Cymraeg Coventry singing some more plygain at St. John the Baptist, Coventry back in January. (Plygain are Welsh Christmas carols but folk in style and traditionally sung until the end of Jan). We chose January 12 to coincide with the Old New Year still celebrated in Cwm Gwaun.
We were very privileged to be able to share this concert with Greengrass, one of Coventry’s best known folk groups with lovely instrumentation and harmonies.
