Seiniwn foliant i Ti Arglwydd
Am fendithion rif y gwlith,
A diolchwn am bob arwydd
O’th ogoniant yn ein plith;
Os yw’r fflam yn llosgi’n isel
Ar yr allor yn ein gwlad,
Clyw’n deisyfiad am yr awel
Sy’n adfywio, dirion Dad.
Ti, O Arglwydd, sy’n teilyngu
Holl orfoledd plant y llawr;
Nid oes ynom ddim sy’n haeddu
Dy fendithion hael bob awr.
Dysg i ni anghofio’r hunan,
A chysegra bob rhyw ddawn,
Fel y gallom roddi’r cyfan
I feddiannu’r bywyd llawn.
Translation
We sing praises to You Lord
For the blessings of the dew,
And we thank (you) for every sign
Of your glory among us;
If the flame burns low
On the altar in our land,
Hear our plea for the breeze
Which refreshes, dear Father.
You, O Lord, are worthy
Of all the rejoicing of the children of the land;
There is nothing in us that deserves Your generous blessings every hour. Teach us to forget the self,
And dedicate every talent,
So we can give our all
To possess the full life.
